George Bernard Shaw once said: “There is no sincerer love than the love of food”. Our chefs revive this feeling every day with the flair and care they apply to every creation, personally selecting the ingredients from the nearby Rialto market.
In a pleasant and cosy atmosphere you can taste some delicious snacks prepared according to the Venetian tradition, such as the baccalà mantecato (creamed salt cod), the fegato alla veneziana (Venetian style liver), the sarde in saor (fried sardines), the mozzarella in carrozza (crusted fried mozzarella cheese), the meatballs or our famous cuttlefish.
In this ancient osteria (small typical restaurant), with a radical chic look, you can also indulge your palate with a complete meal which includes, among other dishes: tagliatelle with monkfish or with courgette and scallops, pumpkin ravioli with walnut and cheese sauce, spaghetti with clams, spaghetti alla busara (with shrimps), spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, fish and courgette lasagne, fried fish, swordfish steak with balsamic vinegar, sea bass fillet “Do Spade”, a sample of three types of salt cod, cuttlefish in black ink sauce with polenta (a sort of porridge made of cornmeal) and finally, as a dessert, panna cotta, bussolai served with sweet wine or a homemade tiramisù.
